The first thing you design as a student is often a lamp. It has the one job of illuminating a space. We interrupted this simple "problem-solution" narrative to get your attention. Is design really as simple as a brief, some ideation, and a sexy product? The light also looks like us - hunched over our computers like the design nerds we are, discussing things we don't fully understand due to our limited perspectives.
