How is the economy changing?
Thesis Exhibition, 2022
Do you pay extra for organic or locally grown produce? What would you call the other option -
"regular produce"?
We propose a future in which "regular produce" is produced completely by
robots and fertilized by who-knows what. Your other two options consist of organic and non-robot
products.
Due to increasing automation technology, a slide into this normative future seems
inevitable. Would you pay extra to avoid this "regular produce"? You have the power to influence the
market.
". . . once technology finds its way into mass communities it ceases to amaze,
ceases to be seen as technology at all, it becomes a regular part of the tapestry of life." - Nick
